Ask me a question. →
I decided to jump on the Tumblr Ask bandwagon (sorry, Formspring.me) so feel free to ask me anything, from inquiries about me to relationship advice to questions about botany (which I know nothing about, but I’ll try my best to answer anyways). Best part? It’s all anonymous (so be as scandalous as you’d like!)
Things I am currently liking (a lot)
1.
From the opening chords of “Horchata”, I was hooked on this album. I listened to it three times yesterday, and it only keeps getting better. I imagine this will make it on my Top Albums list at the end of the year.
2.
I have known about the Toadies for years, but it hasn’t been until now that I developed an obsession with the album Rubberneck. Total post-grunge...
So this morning I woke up with no intention of moving from my apartment. However, by noon, I practically committed moving into a house with Luke and Eric.
The details of the house, as described by Eric:

when are you going to visit sudbury!
Possibly quite early in the new year if I can arrange transport and a place to stay! I miss everyone associated with Sudbury very very much.
Ask me anything
My place has a couch you can sleep on! I miss Andrew Root hang-outs, and I want a listening party as proposed on Last.fm!

A Secret Life - Stephen Dunn
Why you need to have one is not much more mysterious than why you don’t say what you think at the birth of an ugly baby. Or, you’ve just made love and feel you’d rather have been in a dark booth where you partner was nodding, whispering yes, yes, you’re brilliant. The secret life begins early, is kept alive in you, all that you know a Baptist, say, or some other...

Yankee Foxtrot Hotel
I love staying in hotel rooms. I like that they provide a romanticized detachment to everyday life. I have spent half my morning in a Toronto hotel room, curled up under the duvet, being unnecessarily reflective. Once in awhile the sound of a plane flying overhead or the rattling of the air conditioner will interrupt my daze. It is too cold in here. Before this gets too Lost-in-Translation-esque,...

I feel like I haven't written in awhile.
This weekend I moved into my new apartment. It’s very small but the location is perfect. Matt invited me to the Laughing Buddha and it took me exactly seven minutes by foot to walk over there. I jokingly told my mom on the phone that this realization of distance meant that I would spend a large portion of my summer completely inebriated. Word of advice: never tell you mother you plan to...
